samspratt: “RIP Amy Winehouse” - by Sam Spratt Yet another example of a troubled yet talented human being who was berated and bashed for years and only upon death was she treated like a human being. A little more kindness from the world and the media while alive—may have made all of the difference. I took this as a chance to not just pay tribute but also make it very clear that no matter how troubled a person may be, praising them at death doesn’t make the ridicule during life suddenly “ok”. Back to black, Ms. Winehouse.
